LumiCraft specializes in the meticulous handling and artistic enhancement of ceramic and glass items. Our services include:
- Fine Art Ceramic Restoration: Professional repair and aesthetic enhancement of valuable ceramic pieces.
- Bespoke Glass Etching: Custom design etching on various glass items.
- Intricate Pottery Detailing: Adding fine artistic details to pottery.
- Kiln-Fired Glazing: Application of durable and aesthetic glaze finishes.
- Antique Ceramics Repair: Specialized repair techniques for antique ceramic items.
- Custom Glassware Design: Tailored design and creation of unique glassware.
All services are subject to an initial consultation and assessment to determine feasibility, scope, and estimated cost.
4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided by LumiCraft are estimations based on our initial assessment of the item(s) and the requested services. Final prices may vary depending on the complexity of the work, unforeseen challenges, and material costs. We will communicate any significant changes to the quoted price prior to proceeding with the work. A deposit may be required before commencement of certain services.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information regarding the item(s) to be serviced, including their condition, history, and any specific requirements.
- Ensuring safe and appropriate transport of items to and from our premises, unless alternative arrangements are explicitly agreed upon.
- Prompt payment for services rendered as per agreed terms.
- Understanding that while we take utmost care, the nature of restoration and customization of delicate materials carries inherent risks, and some outcomes may not be entirely predictable.
6. Our Commitment and Limitations
LumiCraft is committed to providing high-quality craftsmanship using appropriate techniques and materials. However, certain limitations apply:
- We cannot guarantee the exact replication of original glazes, colors, or textures due to the unique nature of each piece and the restoration process.
- While we strive for perfection, some remnants of previous damage or repairs may remain visible, depending on the severity and nature of the original condition.
- LumiCraft is not liable for existing fragile conditions of items that may become apparent or exacerbated during the handling or restoration process, which were not disclosed or discoverable upon initial inspection.
7. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in delays in return of items or additional charges. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated during the quotation process.
8. Intellectual Property
Any designs, sketches, or custom patterns created by LumiCraft for bespoke services remain the intellectual property of LumiCraft until full payment for the services has been received. Upon full payment, the client receives a license to use the custom design for the specific item created. We reserve the right to photograph completed work for portfolio and promotional purposes, unless specifically requested otherwise by the client in writing.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LumiCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes by posting the new terms on our online platform.
